Faith Overton
Faith Overton is not your typical stay-at-home mom. She feels that God gave her a passion to help others. Faith feels lucky to have come from an amazing family, to have found and married a wonderful man God seems to have created just for her. She has two wonderful children with her husband, Travis.
Faith received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from North Carolina Wesleyan College in 2015 and is currently working on her second Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She was recently accepted to Master’s Program for Criminal Justice at North Carolina Wesleyan College. After completing her Masters, Faith plans to become a Child Advocate so that she can work alongside social workers, police officers and others to represent the needs of children in legal cases.
Faith works with Not Quite Shakespeare, a non-profit after-school theater group for children. Among other responsibilities Faith helps with money management and volunteer coordination. As a self-proclaimed ‘drama geek,’ Faith loves Not Quite Shakespeare’s goal to bring theater to children from all walks of life. Faith has attended numerous business classes, lectures, and programs during the last several years. While she hopes to one day own her own business, she finds the information has helped her in her role as Business Direct for a non-profit.
During her free time, Faith loves to write. She is currently working on two books which will be released on the Amazon book circuit this spring. Faith feels blessed to have found her voice and loves the idea of someone finding the peace, connection and support through her words.
