Jennifer Rivera
Jennifer Rivera is a force to be reckoned with in the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu world and here in our local community. She contributes to the BJJ world and to Eastern North Carolina with her friendly and highly technically sound instructions to a growing number of local women and kids in a male-dominated sport.
Jennifer is charismatic, caring, friendly and thoughtful. She is the constant positive force with the kids and adults with whom she works, improving her students’ self-discipline, respect for people and their mental and physical fitness.
Jennifer makes newcomers to the sport feel welcomed and safe. She is highly respected and well-loved by everyone at the East Carolina Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Academy, as well as by many people in our RMNU affiliates. RMNU (Robson Moura Nations United) is under world-renowned, multiple times IBJJF black-belt champion and hall of famer Master Robson Moura.
Although shy to enter competitions, Jennifer has won just about every single competition she had been successfully encouraged to enter. Her achievements and tenacity are a strong force in drawing more women into the local BJJ community.
Jennifer is quick to volunteer for good causes, and in spite of her very busy schedule, recently completed her degree in Business Management from University of Mount Olive.
