Melissa Holliday
Melissa Holliday is a native of Jamesville, North Carolina. She has always had a strong passion for helping others that is shown through her law career and her Mary Kay business.
Melissa graduated with a Bachelor’s of Social Work from Campbell University. She continued her education at Regent University School of Law in Virginia. After graduating with her Juris Doctorate in 2004, she returned to North Carolina and worked as an Assistant District Attorney for two years. She then decided to defend clients instead of prosecuting them and began pursuing her career in criminal defense. She represents clients charged with traffic and criminal matters in Eastern North Carolina and helps her clients navigate the judicial system and works to find justice for those she represents.
In addition to making sure clients are treated fairly in the criminal justice system, her passion also translates to helping women look and feel their best. She started her Mary Kay business in 2004, shortly before starting her law career. She enjoys pampering women and understands when we look good on the outside, we feel better on the inside. Melissa loves helping women grow, and thrive, both personally and professionally. She also loves the sisterhood and fun prizes that come with a Mary Kay business. Her goals include growing her team and continuing to move up in leadership while helping women look and feel their best.
She is a member of Women’s Power Networking and the Jamesville Ruritan Club.
Melissa enjoys spending time with her friends and family outside of work. She is “Aunt Icee” to two nieces, Jalynn (8) and Jayna (12 months), that are the center of her world. She attends Plymouth Church of the Nazarene and gives her Savior, Jesus Christ, all the glory for her success.
