Noreen Jaafar

Noreen Jaafar has two full time careers, as a professional and as a single mom, which she balances with poise and grace.  Noreen has been in the media business since early 2000. She attended East Carolina University, where she graduated with a BS in Communications/Public Relations in 2008.  After graduation, Noreen continued working in the media industry. Her diverse career background includes promotions, business development, and she was a partner for an online women’s clothing boutique.  Currently, Noreen is an Account Executive at WNCT, the CBS affiliated for eastern North Carolina where she is responsible for providing media solutions for prospective and current clients.

After a busy day at the office, Noreen takes her excitement and creativity to her daughter, Anisa, teaching her the importance of helping others within the community.  Together, they came up with the idea to build a mobile lemonade stand that could be used as a pop-up stand at events.  So far, they have raised over $100, which was donated to 2 local charities and a school supply drive. Noreen loves to see her active and inquisitive daughter thrive in Girl Scout meetings, soccer games, ballet classes, learning Spanish.
