Her heart resides with the things of God. He gave Shavonne Brumsey a clear vision for Riverside Recreation LLC, and Shavonne wants everyone to know that it’s God who is bringing those things to pass. Shavonne is quick to encourage others to watch God move through her business.
“I’m in awe of the things He has done, and I’m eternally grateful to witness His wonders in and through this business,” Shavonne says.
Shavonne King Brumsey is a Christian, wife to Javon Brumsey, and mother of 2 daughters, Ava and Elena. She has served as a Dance Educator with the Pitt County Schools system for the past nine years, until her resignation in June 2019 to open Riverside Recreation, LLC.
Riverside Recreation was a 2018 recipient of the City of Greenville’s Small Business Plan Competition Grant, and provides recreational rental drop-off and pick-up services at Greenville Town Common. In addition to its general outfitter services, Riverside Recreation will open a Yoga and Dance Studio at its 817 Dickinson Avenue Storefront location.
“I started this business with nothing but a vision, faith, and a desire to please God with obedience to things He has called me to do for the families and people of this great City; the mission is found in our tagline: Rested. Replenished. Reconnected.”
